3 & 4 YEAR OLD CLASS February 6- 10, 2012
Dear Parents / Guardians,
Red is one of our favorite colors and we see a
lot of red at this time of year. We will look at and taste some of the
wonderful and delicious red things that God made for us. We will see if
we can place passengers on the Red
School bus as we read the
story. Healthy hearts are important for us to be
healthy and happy so we will exercise our hearts in the gym.
Clifford is a big Red dog and we will each paint our own red Clifford to
bring home. The Big Red Strawberry and The Hungry Bear will be our book
for story time.
Elephants will stomp in our room on Tuesday. Elephants have Wrinkles is a
great song that we will act out and sing. Elephants on a spider web is
the topic of another great song that we will sing as we stomp around our
building. Elephants love peanuts and we will try to feed peanuts to a
special elephant trunk as we practice our throwing. Painting is always
fun and we have the huge job of painting an elephant during art
time. Bashi is an elephant baby and we will read about a day in the
life Bashi in Africa. Our story will be about
7 Blind Mice and the lessons they learn.
Our supply of tissues is running low (lots of runny noses) if you did
not send your tissues in September please send a box to class.
Registration for next year is still open- there are openings in all classes.
